What’s Included in Our Pool Opening

Cover Removal & Cleaning

We carefully remove your winter cover, clear off debris, and prepare it for proper storage. This helps protect the cover while keeping unwanted dirt and leaves from entering the pool during opening.

System Start-Up & Inspection

Our technicians start up the pool system and inspect key equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing connections. We look for visible issues early so small problems can be addressed before peak swim season.

Equipment Reinstallation & Prep

We reinstall ladders, handrails, skimmer baskets, and other removable components needed for normal operation. Every setup step is handled carefully so the pool is functional and ready for the next stage of service.

Cleaning & Water Balancing

To help your pool open in great condition, we remove debris, vacuum as needed, and test the water chemistry. We adjust pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels to support clear, safe water as the season gets underway.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We finally have a pool company that is professional and knows what they are doing. Technician Roman came to fix one problem but discovered another that could of cost us a lot if not corrected. Thank you. We will be using them for our closing. I normally don't write reviews but these guys earned it. There are so many bad companies in our area.

FAQ

When should I schedule pool opening in Flourtown?

Most homeowners in Flourtown schedule pool opening in early to mid-spring, before temperatures consistently rise and demand increases. Opening earlier can help prevent algae growth and make it easier to restore clean water. It also gives more time to identify any equipment issues before the height of swim season. Scheduling ahead is the best way to secure a convenient appointment window.

What is included in a professional pool opening service?

A professional pool opening typically includes removing the winter cover, starting the system, inspecting equipment, reinstalling pool components, and testing the water. Depending on the pool’s condition, it may also include debris removal, vacuuming, and chemical adjustments. The goal is to make sure the pool is operating properly and moving toward safe seasonal use. Additional cleaning or repair recommendations may be provided if needed.

Do you open pools for homes near Erdenheim and Wyndmoor too?

Pool opening season moves quickly, and timing matters. We work to provide dependable scheduling so Flourtown homeowners can prepare for warm weather without last-minute stress.

What if my pool water is dirty or green when opened?

It is common for pools to need extra cleaning after winter, especially if debris collected under or around the cover. If the water is cloudy or green, additional cleaning, vacuuming, and chemical treatment may be needed beyond the initial opening. We evaluate the pool’s condition during service and explain what steps are recommended. Starting the process early in the season usually makes cleanup easier.

Will you check my pool equipment during the opening?

Yes, equipment inspection is an important part of the pool opening process. We check major operating components such as the pump, filter, heater, and visible system connections during startup. This helps identify problems that may affect circulation, heating, or water clarity. Catching those issues early can save time and help avoid interruptions once you are ready to use the pool regularly.
