What’s Included in Our Pool closing

Water Level Adjustment

We lower the pool water to the proper winterization level based on your pool type and closing needs. This helps reduce freeze risk and supports safe cover installation during the colder months.

Line Blowout & Equipment Winterization

Our technicians blow out plumbing lines and winterize key equipment components to help prevent cracking and freeze-related damage. We take care to protect your system so it stays secure through the winter season.

Winter Chemical Balancing

Balanced winter water helps reduce staining, scale, and algae growth while your pool is closed. We can apply the proper closing chemicals to help preserve water quality until reopening time.

Cover Preparation & Final Protection

We prepare the pool for secure cover placement and make sure the closing process is completed with attention to detail. Optional debris cleaning can also help leave the pool in better condition before it is fully shut down for winter.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We finally have a pool company that is professional and knows what they are doing. Technician Roman came to fix one problem but discovered another that could of cost us a lot if not corrected. Thank you. We will be using them for our closing. I normally don't write reviews but these guys earned it. There are so many bad companies in our area.

FAQ

When should I schedule pool closing in Wayne?

Most homeowners in Wayne schedule pool closing in early to mid-fall, before overnight temperatures regularly approach freezing. The right timing depends on weather patterns, your pool setup, and how long you plan to keep the pool open. Booking earlier in the season is usually the best way to secure your preferred appointment window. It also helps ensure your pool is winterized before cold weather can affect plumbing or equipment.

What is included in a professional pool closing service?

A professional pool closing typically includes lowering the water level as needed, blowing out plumbing lines, winterizing equipment, and preparing the pool for its winter cover. Many closings also include debris removal and optional winter chemical treatment. The exact steps can vary depending on your pool type and equipment configuration. The goal is to protect the system from freeze damage and make spring opening easier.

Why is blowing out pool lines so important before winter?

Do I need winter chemicals when closing my pool?

Winter chemicals are often recommended because they help preserve water quality during the off-season. They can reduce the likelihood of algae growth, staining, and excessive contamination while the pool is closed. While every pool is different, adding the proper chemical treatment at closing usually helps support a cleaner, smoother spring opening. It is a helpful preventive measure for many residential pools in Wayne.
